Sunshine and rainbows...

Kristiansund to Aunøya

Duration: 7 hours

Awoke to a lovely settled day, patches of blue sky, and a readiness to leave Kristiansund, which we had really enjoyed...so off we motored...

Northeast through the inner skerries of Ramsøysund...

...and then turned North through Ytrefjord, which is open to the swell of the Norwegian Sea...

...and then back into the protected waters of Edoyfjord...

...with its stunning mountain scenery constantly changing in the cloudy sunny skies...

...past Tyrhaug Lighthouse...

... and up into the Trondheimsleia.... stopping in the protective anchorage of Aunøya...

...where we had a small walk ashore, and then enjoyed a solitary, tranquil night on anchor...

...complete with 10.30pm stunning rainbow...

...and a real sense of being in the land of the midnight sun...
