Day 35: Wednesday 3rd June, 2026.
Leirvik to Florø
Duration: 6.5 hours
Beautiful and warm morning...so shorts on.. boat refuelled...and off we motored...

...away from Leirvik..through Losnosen...past Skorpa and the North end of Krakhella with its high rocky cliffs...

...then through Afjoren , up Vilnesfjord past Askvoll...

...and onwards and northwards...

past Svanoy....and a fellow yacht heading south...

...and finally spied Stabben Fyr Lighthouse...

...a fantastic cultural landmark that was built in 1867, that sits in the fairway 3km NW of Floro...

...and just ahead of the rain once again, we came into Florø - the westernmost town in Norway...

...where we tied up on the pontoon...

...and donning our raincoats took a wee wander around the very picturesque wee town..

...walking up to a small viewpoint past its traditional wooden church...

...and on our return journey saw some lovely wee sculptures...

...as well as an impressive ambulance boat - complete with its own helipad...

...and then popped in to the local Thai for dinner, and then to the boat and to bed....
